Amathus Public Ltd, incorporated in 1943 as Amathus Navigation Co. Ltd, is a multidimensional organisation covering a wide spectrum of activities including aviation, travel, tourism, shipping, cargo transportation and logistics and hotel ownership and management. The company is listed in the Cyprus Stock Exchange since 1996 and had a turnover in excess of CY£14 million in 2006 (unaudited results). Amathus is a member of the Lanitis Group.

Amathus carries out its activities from two operating divisions, and a number of subsidiary and associate companies.

The Hotels Division owns operates and manages the Amathus Beach Hotel in Limassol, the Paphos Amathus Beach Hotel in Paphos – both members of the Leading Hotels of the World, and the Rodian Amathus Beach Resort in Rhodes.

The Travel & Transport Division incorporates the Aviation and the Tourism Divisions and manages a portfolio of businesses in related activities both in Cyprus and abroad.

Aviation Services

The Aviation Division operates as passenger and cargo general sales agent for a number of airlines,including Olympic Airlines, Emirates, SAS, LTU, and Aer Lingus. Amathus is also a key partner in Hollandia Aviation Ltd, the GSA of Air France/KLM. The division operates ticketing services for these airlines in Nicosia , Limassol, Larnaca and Pafos.

Ground Handling

Outgoing Tourism

Amathus is the owner and operator of “Let’s Go Tours”, the most comprehensive outbound tour operator in the market, offering holiday packages, hotel accommodation, and organised tours worldwide. Farawaway destinations, luxury cruises and tailor made packages are available from the specialised department “Let’s Go Plus”. Let’s Go Tours ’ brochures are available from Amathus offices and major travel agents all over Cyprus .

Incoming Tourism

The Tourism Division represents a number of overseas Tour Operators and offers visitors to Cyprus a wide range of local services that ensure a pleasant stay in the island. The division handles groups, conferences and incentives through its specialized department, Amathus Destination Services.

Travel Services

Retail travel (IATA) services are provided by Amathus Travel Ltd, a subsidiary of Amathus with offices in all major cities in Cyprus .

Shipping, Clearing & Forwarding
